Many North Shore families and youth lack food and shelter. Especially vulnerable are the children involved. You can learn more about this crisis and how you can help end it by attending a public forum on Sunday, March 24th at 2:30 pm, at the First Church of Swampscott Congregational, 40 Monument Ave in Swampscott.
The forum, sponsored by North Shore Voices to End Homelessness, a group of North Shore organizations and congregations, will feature nationally recognized pediatrician, Megan Sandel, M. D., Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at the Boston University Schools of Medicine and Public Health and an investigator for Children’s Health Watch.
Other speakers will address key public policy issues as it relates to homeless services at the state and local level and offer first-hand accounts of their experience dealing with homelessness. North Shore Representatives and Senators are invited
