First Church in Swampscott, Congregational believes our facilities should be used for ministry and related activities that glorify the Lord in accordance with our Statement of Purpose. In general, we favor use by faith-based groups and individuals rather than commercial use of our space.To use the our facilities, please read carefully these Guidelines and the sample Space Rental Contract to learn the responsibilities of applicants, as well as those services provided by First Church in Swampscott.

Application

Applicants should complete and submit the Application for Space Rental form no less than 30 days in advance of the event. Requests will be approved by the church within 7 to 10 days. (Space for a funeral service may be arranged verbally on short notice.)Just after your event is approved a Space Rental Contract will be sent to you for your signature and payment.Please direct inquiries to the church secretary at 781-592-6081 who will put you in touch with church leadership and others, if requested. Hours

  • Space may be used between 8 AM and 11 PM *.
  • Please specify the entire time you expect to use the church facilities, including time to prepare for/ set up or to close down after the event.

*Note: Events which run later than scheduled ending times may be subject to additional charges] Use and Care Facilities that you plan to rent will be left clean and in good order before your event. Please do reasonable straightening up and cleaning after your event to avoid the necessity of additional post-event cleaning.
